I’d say they’re great for hilly locations, places where the bicycle is not a way of life already, and where most residents are not used to, or are put off by the though of breaking a sweat, the e-bike offers a more accessible, albeit, costlier opportunity to ride a bike. Anything that increases the number of people on a bike is a good thing.
